I am sure this membership wouldn’t surprise the editors at The Daily Mirror who seemed to sense the senselessness of dumb numbers four years ago.
That was 2004; Today newspapers are losing their political clout to the networking effect of online media.

One does wonder how newspapers will succeed four years hence if they can’t carve out a unique service-oriented value position online today.
