New media and video journalism
I worked with Robb when I was at the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, setting up training events across the state.
Robb is an excellent trainer. He meets participants exactly where they are, with the skills they possess, and with the equipment they have. He can work with a roomful of people who are all in different stages of development, and somehow make it all come out very well.
Robb’s presentation was very helpful, especially for a small staff with limited resources. I look forward to him returning next year to see where we have taken his guidance and to see where we need to be going from there.

Just a note to thank the PNA Foundation for the opportunity to have Robb Montgomery visit our newspaper yesterday.
Our staff was very impressed with his presentation. They felt that he showed what is happening in newsrooms around the world as well as what is possible for a staff our size.
They felt his message was inspirational and that was one of the reasons I wanted him to be in Pottsville. After seeing Robb present at America East I felt that he could energize our staff and help with our corporate culture as it pertains to interactive media.
Mission accomplished! Robb was very easy to work with, professional and took the time for a Q&A session.

I am in Pennsylvania working with clients this week and met up with Charles Apple, Darren Sanefski, Carrie Hamilton, and Daniel Hunt talk interviewed them about the three-day visual journalism (Design and Graphics) workshop sponsored by the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association in Harrisburg, PA.
I am in a video editing mode - For the rest of the week I am working with two film producers here to make final edits to a long-form documentary movie I have been editing all summer.
