McPaper in Germany

McPaper in Germany

McPaper is a bookstore chain in Germany. I am in Cairo, Egypt preparing for a week of work with my clients and was cleaning out the photos from my iPhone. This was shot a couple days ago in Potsdam, Germany where the journalists I talked to had never heard that “McPaper” was the snooty term some journalists use to label USA Today - the largest circulation paper in the U.S.

Super Tuesday multimedia - Pages One reviewed

These are my Newseum picks from my currently neutral vantage point of Berlin, Germany.

I chose them because they represent a range of editing choices, colorful headlines and graphics options.

FYI: I can tell you that the Danes and Germans I have met are actively interested in this U.S. presidential race - much more so - they tell me - than any in recent memory. I have a lot of practice this past week explaining the U.S. primary process and the road to the White House to editors over here. That’s pretty cool!

Lets hear your thoughts and see your pages!
