Listen to Michael Cooke’s farewell speech to Chicago Sun-Times reporters

Michael Cooke’s farewell remarks to reporting staff of the Chicago Sun-Times.

This marks the the second time that Cooke has said goodbye to the reporters and editors who work in that newsroom.

He’s leaving to become the editor in chief of the Toronto Star.

At his going away bash at a River North pub, Cooke was gifted with an homage front page of him in the now famous Obama pose and was prompted by columnists like Roger Ebert, Richard Roeper and the entire staff to say a few words before heading off to work in Canada.
