Video journalism in Paris, Berlin and Sweden

A quick film update,

I have arrived in Berlin after an all too short visit in Paris where I spent time with cherished colleagues and made new ones at the IFRA and SND joint visual journalism confab. It was a two day event held in the Trocadero district (Across from Eiffel tower) at the ultra-luxe Apple executive briefing center. Some video to follow - I filled three tapes over two days, SOTs (Interviews and pieces to camera), sequences in the rain (the never-ending rain!) and plenty of B-roll.

The sequence above is a fresh film fragment - A short vignette in a cross-town cab ride from the time in Paris - more to come as time allows but I am now in Berlin working with KB and here to accompany Lukas on a newspaper redesign pitch.
And then it is off to Sweden Saturday morning to the World Newspaper Congress and to lead a video team of student journalists who will films and document the World Editors Forum in Gothenborg.

Below is the program - as you can see there will be little time to edit the footage from Cairo, Paris and Michigan. Stay tuned for films from Sweden!
