Thanks to David for this bonus - I had no idea he was shooting. I actually couldn’t see anything with those bright TV lights in my face.
This bit about how reporters can use devices like the iPhone to report from the field is from a keynote address at the Media Development Program conference in Cairo. The talk illustrates the expectations of digital media consumers and creators.
In the next blog entry I will embed a reel I made of David talking to editors immediately after his presentation about video journalism.
This was the first journalism conference produced by the Media Development project and it drew together hundreds of print, online and broadcast professionals.
